2. The Toronto police have their version of stop and frisk & engage in racial profiling. Young black men are routinely hassled by the cops.

3. The police saw Rob Ford & associates on many occasions in what looks like drug deals. They did not press for a warrant to his premises.

4. Possible defense of police: maybe they were after bigger fish than a drug case, maybe they wanted to string Ford along till big catch.

6. The story as of now: The Dixon Bloods are going to jail, the Royal York Drifters (i.e Ford & his cronies) remain in City Hall.

10. Beyond Rob Ford, we need an independent investigation of the Toronto police (and especially Etobicoke police).
