@yeselson @CoreyRobin VN put out a very eccentric Pushkin translation which EW objected to. Neither came out looking good in exchange.

@CoreyRobin@yeselson Yeah, I had exactly the same thought. VN's Pushkin tries to be word-for-word including same syntax as Russian.
