I genuinely don’t see why the Mises faction even cares about the LP at this point except force of habit. The Trumpified GOP is the Rockwell-Rothbard Report brought to life. Any paleolibertarian wanting to do politics can do so in a major party!

Murray knew libertarians were a small minority that needed allies to succeed. He first reached out to the New Left on war and civil liberties, but that failed. Then he reached out to neo-confederates who hated the federal government for their own reasons. He was more successful.

For the vantage on 2022 it’s hard not to see the “Paleolibertarian Manifesto” (whatever it was actually titled) as one of the most successful political programs of all time.
