I wish you'd reconsider. I'm not sure you're equipped to have this discussion, not am I convinced your guest can have a good faith conversation on the matter. I wish you'd consider what harm reduction might look like in these situations from a media perspective. Is it this?

Thank you, Jesse. I'm not equipped to debate the history of residential schools, and I won't. My job as a media critic is to hold reporters to account and to respond to what Canada's news media puts out there. I will do my best.
