It would be interesting to get an essay tracing out the trajectory of Murray Rothbard's racial politics. In 1960s he was very critical of racism of National Review & mainstream conservatism. Also an admirer of Black Panthers. He ended up praising David Duke & Pat Buchanan

It's not enough to say Rothbard shifted radically (from Black Power to David Duke) but to also note the underlying continuity. His goal was balkanized USA: when Panthers were strong, he supported them, when they abated he turned his focus to racist right.
