Nothing wrong with criticizing police, but we need to be vigilant about GOP efforts to derail the conversation by arguing this is a case about police not doing enough and not about easy access to guns (as they did after the Parkland School Massacre)

Multiple cops seem to have confronted/seen him before entering the school. And they could not stop him? Weren’t they the good guys with guns…?

Multiple cops from a department caught in several lies about this incident claim that, yes It doesn't match any public timeline or videos, but it could be true I'd advise them to dig up, but they're sticking with friendly media until another shootinghttps://www.thecut.com/2022/05/what-did-police-actually-do-in-the-uvalde-shooting.html …

Were the cops shot, as previously stated or did they just have “minor injuries” which is what I’m hearing/seeing now?

This seems to go hand in hand with the way the casualties we're reported. Initially it was two. Then it just kept climbing until it reached 21.

That's not uncommon in any mass casualty event. Some mistakes in breaking news are to be expected & holes at the time. This isn't that. At all. Two days later they know who was on the scene from which depts, esp if treated for injuries—gsw is trauma.https://www.thecut.com/2022/05/what-did-police-actually-do-in-the-uvalde-shooting.html …
