The one question is how would cuellar's challenger plan on winning the district after the primary. The district swung 20 points to the right and is likely to elect a republican if cuellar loses. Would it be better for democracy if cuellar is replaced by a republican

Please. None of these parlor games are relevant at all to 2022 election. What is relevant are progressives blaming Biden admin for not accomplishing more w/o conveying to young voters how small the margins are. Biden gets blamed, voters disaffected, which impacts turnout.
