The first protest I distinctly remember was a “pro-life” protest outside of my public middle school because they were teaching contraception. They carried incredibly graphic signs that I didn’t know for years were misleading, and were more raucous than that group.

But let’s shed 10,000x more tears for a Supreme Court justice rather than a public school health teacher, or a Planned Parendhood worker for that matter. I mean, I expect it from Republicans, but lots of Dems and “centrists” are following the same line.

I live down the street from Schumer. This is a bit of truthful hyperbole: there are frequent protests across the street from his building, addressing him. But they happen more like three or four times a month, not three or four times a week.
