imo fine to try to coopt Fox's megaphone so long as you don't suck up to Tucker and agree with his horrible opinions. simple ashttps://twitter.com/sunraysunray/status/1514951553190445061 …

i’m sort of split on this. i think christian did a textbook job, but even as he stayed relentlessly on message and refused to take the bait, they still stacked the deck by surrounding him with pre-built chyrons and visuals distracting from his actual message

also i don’t think that the typical fox news viewer actually listens to what is being said unless it supports their priors, at least when they’re watching something like tucker. two main takeaways from that perspective: aoc is a hypocrite and amazon is woke

That's a misunderstanding of what "typical Fox viewer" is. When Bernie spoke to Fox town halls, people there liked what he said. More young Democrats watch Carlson than MSNBC.

bernie’s town hall appearance was great! he also wasn’t fighting the framing he was placed within because the format was conducive to actual conversation, whereas the format of something like tucker is pure propaganda. interesting stat re: viewership tho; i didn’t know that
