Ok for the curious but uninformed of us, can you explain the actual categories of thought these ideas fall into? What is the actual origin of CT and CRT and their relation to the enlightenment?

CRT is a bunch of black civil rights lawyers trying to explain why the Civil Rights Act and Brown didn’t solve racism and doesn’t actually have much to do with either “critical theory” (except the word “critical”’in the name) or the enlightenment
