Real question: What are the implications if an authoritarian regime has to back down from an unpopular war because of grassroots pressure, yet that couldn't happen in a "liberal democracy" like the US?

That’s why we’re showing it, Jeet. It’s called pro-pa-ganda. I know we’d love to imagine that all the Russians feel just like us about things but they have no reason to. We make them hate us. We push for war and suffering and not peace.
