I’m really shocked how you see no problem with Russian wars other than with NATO countries. There is also a logic to expressing the clarity that Moldova and other non-NATO countries aren’t freebies for Putin’s imperial designs.
You know there is this thing called international law and the United Nations charter, which includes more than NATO.
“Nuclear war” is just an abstraction to people now. They haven’t read accounts of the slow horrific post-bomb deaths in Japan, or explanations of the further climate destruction nuclear conflict would bring. Even “limited” nuclear war is unconscionable and unsurvivable.
