War for peace historically hasn't worked well. Also, which genocide?

Well, he's NOT ignoring it; he's very clearly saying it's not going to happen. Which is the correct move.
-
Zelensky doesn't seem to be getting the memo, though. Can't help but think he's going to start accusing NATO and EU of "lying" to him and "betraying" him for refusing a no-fly zone.

Ukraine is stuck in a rough neighborhood, little can be done about it.

how can America be the moral center of humanity if we can’t even fix everything with limited bombing campaigns?

if most of the damage to Ukr. is coming from artillery, rockets and missiles, I don't see how it does very much, unless it's a ramp to escalation of firing on Russian ground forces.
-
Zelinskyy's call to "close the skies" explicitly includes missiles. That would require a lot of bombing soldiers on the ground, including on Russian and Belorussian territory, it's unambiguously full NATO involvement in the war.

Too many, inc. Zelenskiy, have developed a No-Fly-Zone fetish, like it's the only military strategy they ever heard of. Military experts say repeatedly a NFZ would only provoke WW3 & Ukraine can defeat Russia's army & missiles using the weapons the West is now delivering.
