Even if there is no catastrophe, this inevitably puts all of Europe and NATO on a war footing. We can't continue to think of this as primarily a regional or Ukrainian conflict. Putin is now threatening to kill millions of Europeans.

All fine and dandy, but I note a lot of ifs and shoulds in the thread. I assume (correctly) all those ifs and shoulds are predicated on something along along the lines of a plant not being under attack and being shot at by an incompetent army. Otherwise… good to know.
