GenX > Boomers on this. Old people had abstract notions of nukes and duck-n-cover. By the time we were kids, MAD was assured, duck-n-cover was pointless, and we all watched “The Day After” in elementary school.

Is it? Our generation had a window to get rid of nukes, and we just let it go. So, how are better. Young people already know they're going to have to deal with the devastation of climate change (thanks to boomers) bukes would just bring the end quicker

Right, you also got to make out with most of the wealth. Great job! Besides, now teachers and kids get to do shelter-in-place and lock downs. Quite frankly why should they worry about a nuclear bomb when they are statistically more likely to get shot in their own schools?
