Not agueing against the sanctions but i don't think they can . There's like a handful of people who could do that . The only scenario i could see is what happened to South Korean dictator Park Chung-hee who was killed by the head of the Korean Central Intelligence Agency

I was completely wrong on the invasion so maybe I'm also wrong now but best case scenario seems hand Putin Donbas and Crimea (+landbridge or just build a ferry) in exchange for a ceasefire? Seems like a win for him? Kiev is surrounded this is going to get so much worse.
