Putin still has the option of declaring victory and going home — retreating back to Donbas, proclaiming that he's bravely protected the independence of Ukraine's breakaways, and calling it done. But the longer he goes forward, the harder it is for him to do that.

I hope, but i dont think there will be much change. russia needs to keep face, and they cant without atleast krim + donbas. they have to have something to justify this shit to their people.
