I think Michelle's article makes if very clear that the organizers are far-right extremists with seditionists goals. That's not the same as saying everyone who joined the protest is that.
As Goldberg made clear (and I've repeated) the organizers are far right. The question is whether the broader range of participants share that view. I don't see any way to figure that out without talking to them

People who take time off work to disrupt a city, international commerce in the name of freedom from vaccines are not the best people no matter what they think of themselves. They are wealthier than most people, entitled, and ignorant even if they consider themselves "nice".

By all means talk to them, but at least show some evidence that you've asked them tough questions. Show some awareness that the official line set by the racist extremist organizers is to downplay the racism and the material demands and play up vague allusions to freedom.

Like in this photo: see the Q-anon reference, and the Aussie flag, which has been co-opted by white supremacists (which I learned from
@antihateca )

Yeah, it's a real mystery what kind of politics this crowd is motivated by. Let's do two hundred interviews and faithfully transcribe everything they say. After all, they seem like honest, reasonable people, right?

I would suggest that all you need to do is take a look at the hints in handmade signs, close-ups of tattoos, and compare to a couple of the decoding threads from
@antihateca and you see that there are many, many silent nods to white supremacy and hate.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
