I grew up in a place where I expected to be surrounded by people who would give a damn about Ukraine.

Unclear what "stay out" means here—neutrality or no involvement?
-
Yes, that could easily mean "keep troops out". What a horrible poll. Nearly a push poll.

That’s a horribly phrased question. What does “support” entail? Sanctions? Military aid? Direct military engagement?

The U.S had a huge push for Ukraine to disarm based on the final agreements that they would be protected in the event of exactly what's about to happen happening. Some of the demographics have short memories, or no memories. They gave up 'their' nukes to avoid this. PS-under 65.

The entire international community is committed to the principle of pretending that the Budapest memorandum never happened and Ukraine gave up the world's third largest nuclear arsenal out of the kindness of their hearts.

"Support Ukraine" runs a pretty wide freaking gamut of options, which feels a bit, uh, unideal for polling. Should've broken it out into at least something like "direct military intervention"/"materiel support and targeted sanctions against Russia"/"Stay out and do nothing"

Not sure that's interesting, seems like the obvious outcome of putting Nat Sec people on every major news channel / desk. It's also not particularly different than say coverage of single payer healthcare. Americans are told what to want by the media, not the other way around.
