If you asked me to predict the winner of the next election (probably sooner than you think or want) I would guess the CPC's deal with the anti-vax mandate , trucking freedom crowd , might give them an edge . Authoritarian populism is a powerful force . BTW never turns out well .

You barely need misinformation. Too many mainstream commentators refuse to talk about anything about the CPC that may disqualify them

Targeted mis- and disinformation is one thing, there's downright radicalization (people who would've never identified this way are being sucked in by You Tubers etc), & moderates/center-left are not big protestors... there will be denial and avoidance of confrontation I fear.
