At what point does science fiction simply become a different kind of fantasy? I don’t know how possible it is for the genre to get too far ahead of where we are right now.

Right, I have quoted that line many times. But that’s not what I’m talking about! I mean is there science fiction that is trying to concretely visualize life 25 or 50 or thousand years from now? I’m interested in it.
