People who vote for the PPC would probably want Trump as their Prime Minister.

About 450,000 people who voted for PPC would not be vaccinated representing about 1% of Canada's population. If Canada can get to 99% vaccinated, even with these misguided souls, that is enough for herd immunity.

The GOP is the PPC, period--not the CPC. Just as it is the AfD--not the CDU/CSU. The only difference between the GOP and far-right parties in other major democracies is that instead of getting 5 or 10 percent of the vote it gets close to 50.

That’s honestly higher for CPC voters than I would have thought, and only further emphasizes how the national party is captive to its most rabid fringe, given how it’s appeasing the sitting MPs who won’t get vaccinated.
