The "moral panic" is because, even if you don't notice it, it's become the preferred term in much of academia, in progressive media (at least in cultural/social issues coverage), & in innumerable other places including consumer marketing.

Yeah, but you're also the guy who didn't understand what he was signing in the Harper's Letter and didn't get that electing Trump was actually dangerous to abortion rights, so your powers of perception re burgeoning but still not trivial developments might not be so stellar.
