          when I was doing Iraq reporting in the 2003-4 era we were getting very close to some big intel stuff (I was working with 60 minutes) and I started seein other intel agencies just planting stuff in uk papers. Came to learn that most of then had reporters were happy to publish …

          2/ what was essentially disinformation from foreign and domestic intel agencies. Obviously reporters have all sorts of sources. And this vector is not unique to UK. But they were the easiest touch. Zero standards.
