This reminds me of my grandmother who died at 98 in 2017, she was widowed in 1958, her last living sibling died in 2011 - we were talking shortly after that death and I said, "Nano, you're gonna live to be 100", and she earnestly replied, "I don't want to live that long"

This really brings me back. Not long before my grandmother’s death I was on the phone with her asking her how she was. She said she was kind of depressed, everyone around her was either dead or dying. Nowhere to go. I’d never heard her like that before
