Fun fact: the right's assault on "culturally left-wing" is not restricted to goofy DEI trainings; in fact, much of it centers on ideas many of us think are true and must be defended (American history is built around anti-blackness, gender is not determined at birth, etc.)

One game that a lot of people like to play here is We Are All Agreed, as if there's an elite consensus about which of these ideas are over the line. But there isn't. In fact many core progressive cultural ideas are barely accepted, or even rejected, in elite circles.
