Sam and I are recording an episode about Frank Meyer on Monday, and in doing some prep reading this afternoon I learned that Meyer flirted with Catholicism as early as his days as a student at Oxford—under the influence Martin D'Arcy, SJ (Meyer would convert on his deathbed)

That's the best use for such a book. ISI for data, Wills for the real truth. One thing that the ISI book doesn't get (nor do any of the other existing NR books) is Meyer as an important book review editor with literary taste.
