Okay, here's the deal. Most on right don't like diversity, equity & inclusion programs. (And many liberals & leftists disagree with how existing DEI programs are conducted even while agreeing with goals). But "diversity" is a popular term. Hence creation of CRT bogeymanhttps://twitter.com/DouthatNYT/status/1456646864497950724 …

CRT-driven diversity programs, especially at school level, are basically positioned as beyond enquiry or rational assessment. it's not immediately clear that conservatives really have any obligation to fight fair on this one. some crafty phrase-making seems like a legit tactic?
-
There are no 'CRT-driven diversity programs' Racism causes problems in *already* diverse environments. Most don't do much about it. Some workplaces wanted to avoid it--had a training. Some schools put a unit into their curriculum. CRT has nothing to do w/ these *minor* efforts.

Sure: Out of a basket of different terms that activists themselves use to describe what they're doing, the right is highlighting one that does not automatically function as propaganda for the left.

the point is that what is being highlighted is contrived.https://twitter.com/b9n10nt/status/1456475215706288130?s=20 …
