2. The post-liberal right recognizes they can't win a majority but they also realize (as liberals like @nate_cohn refuse to do) that you can govern in USA as a minority. Lots of leeway to do that through electoral college, gerrymandering & courts. And lots of precedent.

4. It's interesting to compare Judith Butler's excellent new piece in Guardian with Rod Dreher's latest praise of Putin. Both Butler & Dreher recognize that gender reaction will require autocracy. Butler thinks that's bad, Dreher good.

In addition to your comments, it's worth remembering that the idea of the Hungarian model for the American alt-right is to lean on our institutions of information so they are more akin to conservative propaganda with the idea that this will influence the public's attitudes.
