      Yeah this is about right. A lot of reviews poo-pooing the lack of character depth etc mostly because I assume they've never read an Asimov book.. Spending a gajillion dollars to make insane galactic CGI scenes and cool costumes and aliens is totally worth it.pic.twitter.com/DjBuQZLj6r

      Right. The other thing is that there are virtually no white people in Asimov's universe (a small pocket somewhere I think).

          In his novel "The Currents of Space" the story is set on a planet that had slavery and also grew a fantastic form of cotton, and the enslaved people that tended the cotton happened to be white.
