The movie seems to have glossed over a LOT to make a nice and tidy story about how Chuck Lane saved the day. And I don’t really know much about him, but his work never struck me as particularly intelligent, either at TNR or since. And Kelly’s pre-Iraq ear shit was psychopathic.

TNR, and I'll ask you to forgive me, was a massive force for harm for a very long time. Glass was a flashy but minor part of that. And most of the people who did most of the harm are still invitited to the right kinds of cocktail parties.
