Sure, maybe things didn't change in a large way. But there are a number of significant smaller changes that shouldn't be overlooked.

Giving the PPC further oxygen and a reason to do door-knocking and bring in anti-vaxxers to the fold at the height of their anger -- just in time for provincial and municipal elections in Ontario next year -- is gonna be the worst consequence of this election IMO.

I don’t agree. The CPC’s path to victory is to the center. If they distance themselves from the crazies, they have a good shot of winning back the suburbs in the 905 and elsewhere. They’ll lose some hard right voters but mainly in ridings where they already have a huge cushion.

Makes way more sense to make the party competitive in places where they can expand their map instead of running up the score in solid strongholds that are already in their column.
