People often view retired politicians more favorably -- but I don't think that sort of nostalgic revisionism translates into votes. People vote for the future.

The Tories aren’t looking to win the most seats in Quebec. Realistically they hope to pick up 4-5 seats. In their wildest dreams they’d double their current tally. Mulroney’s endorsement very much helps with that.
