Alabama threw out 65,000 vaccine doses because there wasn't enough demand. Waiting for a class warrior to tell me again that college-educated liberals are the reason we're still stuck in this mess.https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2021/08/07/alabama-vaccine-rate-mtg/ …

Good point! Bill Burr has a similar bit on this. I think the problem is the hesitancy happens upstream. Folks come to distrust the establishment b/c it doesn't serve them, but then that distrust gets applied to all issues. Still, I bet this argument could be effective w/ some.

It's more like being unable to get folks to accept a fancy *FLYING* car when the whole establishment they've come to distrust insists is safe.
I still think it's illogical in this case, but then I think of Eastern European people being distrustful of govt & it makes sense.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

You're all making these people sound like characters out of James Agee. 95% of these people (if not more) have their kids vaccinated to go to school, and were vaccinated themselves. They know how vaccines work. They're choosing to not take this one.

For me, the biggest problem is the people who know better who are stoking this anti-vax sentiment and skepticism.
