You know my feelings on the Bush years. But Donald Rumsfeld's "known knowns, known unknowns, and unknown unknowns" answer was one of the truest things said by anyone in a modern White House. And people hated it. RIP.

Is the answer, "people who denied the existence of the 'unknown known' as a category and thought they could obliterate an oppressive government and a nation's infrastructure and then sit back with 200k fewer troops than the Pentagon requested to watch the good times roll?"
