Are you under the impression that Kant, Calhoun, Heidegger, Ezra Pound, Celine, Carl Schmitt, etc. are not widely taught? In fact, they are.

They’re not. Stick to comic books

Kant and Heidegger are not widely taught? Celine and Pound? Maybe not in first year but they are very much part of standard curricula in a number of areas.

I was a philosophy major. Kant was taught at the end of a modern philosophy class, and then it was just about his metaphysics and epistemology. I’m confident Heidegger wasn’t taught in any course; Anglo-American philosophy predominated

I also took a class on modernist lit. Guess what? No pound. I doubt Celine is ever taught in anything but upper level French courses. Not many people major in French

The vast number of monographs and study guides to Pound and Heidegger would maybe indicate that your anecdotal experience is not representative. Stick to trolling.
