My class on American political thought at Rutgers in the 1980s included Southern political theorists John Calhoun and George Fitzhugh, both white supremacist theorists of slavery as a positive good. (Fitzhugh thought it was the best kind of socialism!)

Under the impression that we’re talking about a very specific thing with the military controversy where new thinkers are being taught, and the ideologies that are supposedly important like modern white nationalism are not.

if your complaint is that The Turner Diary, Stormfront or VDare aren't accorded the same level of intellectual respect as Harvard law professors, then I don't know what to say. To get intellectually serious white nationalist thought you have to dig into past.

Kant and Heidegger are not widely taught? Celine and Pound? Maybe not in first year but they are very much part of standard curricula in a number of areas.
