I've now reviewed a wide body of articles, news reports and legislative debates and I can conclude that the public/political debate abt critical race theory is quite stupid and laws banning it may be hard to enforce since no one has a clear idea of what it is.

Honestly, if I were the NYT, I would double down on the 1619 project and start a social media marketing campaign directly to white kids - The History Your Parents don’t want you to know!

I'd like to see it, but that sort of appeal seems more exuberant than what the grey lady is known for. The terms are almost anachronisms but there is a difference between broadsheet papers and tabloids and the use of exclamation points is one distinction. NYT is a broadsheet.
