A strong economy will do more to win over those voters than gridlocked bipartisan negotiations.

You have to distinguish between the rhetoric of bipartisanship and “we’re all Americans here” (which is good) with the substance. Biden didn’t conciliate at all on the stimulus plan.

true and I think he's boosted the economy with his Keynesian spending which is also showing off the prowess of good government to skeptical R voters when that money hits their communities as infrastructure etc
