Yes - breakdown by age would likely be revealing. Polls in Canada also aim for geographic relevance; some regions (north in particular) are approaching 80-90% vaccination and would skew the national results

The 36% reported on the NYT front page is all residents. Because children are less likely to receive them and also less likely to answer polls, you'd expect the polled number to be higher than 36% without incorrect responses being a factor.

(FYI I thought Jeet was implying people were giving incorrect responses, I reread his original tweet and now don't think that is the case. Leaving my tweet up because it's still useful context.)
