Yes, obviously. It was clear Bush wanted to use 9/11 to go to war with Iraq and since Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 it followed that everything about that war was probably a lie.

Wasn't the main opposition that Sadaam had nothing to do with 9/11? I remember Colin Powell getting rave reviews in his presentation at the U.N.

Lots of people opposed it for lots of reasons, but "rave reviews" for a state official doing a presentation probably didn't come from.... people who opposed the war. Like, the media was super in the tank and half the democrats voted for it, but it's never been true that the

I was in high school, I didn’t know if there were Nuclear weapons but I would have told you that’s not the reason we were attacking them. My reasoning at the time was that there was way more evidence that North Korea had WMDs and no talk of invasion.
