That's how it started, but not really what it is anymore.

Can you sum up in a sentence or two what critical race theory is? And also provide one or two primary sources (i.e. from actual critical race theorists) that are the basis of this definition?

Assumes laws are made to protect the powerful. Using the concept of respecting the "lived experience" of the accuser, it flips the burden of proof to the accused. Guilty until proven innocent as a way to eliminate power differentials.

Can you provide a primary source (i.e. not a summary or a gloss but someone who identifies as critical race theorist) that can back up this characterization? Thanks.

Unfortunately I can not as I am not an expert on this topic. However, the key to understanding my comment is subsumed in the way they define the concept of "equity" which means that disparate outcomes based on race are considered racist.

This article has an outline of the policy. You see anti-racism is somewhat doubles-speak as the only way to achieve "equity" is to allocate all resources based on race regardless of who produces the excess to be allocated. Asians do well on high school entrance exams, they are hoarding resources that should be allocated fairly across racial demographics. So it is really affirmative action applied to every aspect of life. Sorry I can't get you specific sources.

The California Proposition that was defeated this past November made discriminating based on race legal. It is derivative of CRT https://www.wsj.com/articles/a-vote-for-discrimination-11593127619 …
