I, uh, what??? Like, are we ignoring the general trend of India & Vietnam growing closer to the US, ignoring previous Indo-Pacific alliances like with Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Australia, etc.
This tweet pretty much makes clear you don't know what you're talking about. I travel to Asia (mostly Japan and Korea) very often and talk (video now) w/ corporate and government people there. The overwhelming appetite there is for USA to strengthen alliances to counteract China.
