Last night — probably because I began the mean-spirited biography True Believer: The Rise and Fall of Stan Lee right before settling in for sleep — I dreamt I was waiting at Comic-Con to see The Man again. But, alas, I woke before I got to the front of the line.
Stan Lee's habits of prevarications are well known and documented long before this biography. Since those prevarications have been influential, they should be flagged. As for worst possible light, I think the book is generous about Lee's genuine talent as an editor & promoter.

Well, that will be up to others to determine, as I was so disgusted by even the free sample available to my Kindle, I have no intention of putting any money into the pockets of the author or publisher. Unless I'm someday diagnosed with low blood pressure and need to be riled up.
