I still don’t understand the dr Seuss controversy. There were only two essays written about the ‘racist undertones’ that never made a definitive correlation. What am I missing??

Conservatives are angry at Seuss Enterprises for dropping 6 books that had racist imagery, so they punished them by buying millions of copies of all the Seuss books that don't have racist imagery.
