I think people are dancing around their belief that forgiveness shouldn't be allowed. But because they feel uncomfortable saying that outright they'll instead argue he hasn't sufficiently atoned without defining what that would take.

I think forgiveness is red herring. It's not up to anyone other than Malcolm Harris to forgive (no one else has standing to forgive). The question is trust. People will vary on whether to trust again.

Fair enough. But in that case, I don't think that's really something Freddie can do anything about except by what he's doing right now. Building up a body of work that shows he's honest and wouldn't do that again.

That's fair too. It's natural that people will come to different conclusions about whether to grant him that trust again, but it's the only path forward.
