Trump helped cover up Mohammed bin Salman's crimes and let him get away with murder. Biden has made public Mohammed bin Salman's crimes and let him get away with murder. Progress?https://twitter.com/AymanM/status/1365386467254693903 …

Biden has decided that the price of directly penalizing Saudi Arabia’s crown prince [#MBS] is too high, according to senior administration officials, despite a detailed American intelligence finding that he directly approved the killing of Jamal Khashoggi https://www.nytimes.com/2021/02/26/us/politics/biden-mbs-khashoggi.html?smid=tw-share …

Asking this question in all sincerity - what would be the best case outcome here? Can he be charged with murder in a U.S. court? Sort of unclear to me what Biden can actually do about this

Yes, it seems like sanctions are basically the only thing we can do. Biden is sanctioning 70 more Saudis. He could have sanctioned MBS himself but decided not to.

If you don’t feel the price is too high, what would you have him do about it? Personally I would hold Americans accountable for engaging in the coverup or collusion exactly as I would do as pertains Russian interference and lay off the foreign countries.

Not selling the Saudis weapons for the whole four years isn’t that high a price for us but would actually harm them

Nothing personally will or could ever happen to MBS from the outside (maybe a palace coup will take him down), but I doubt he will be going to Davos again any time soon.

It's definitely progress, but it's not even scratching the surface on Saudi Arabia. How about declassifying the 9/11 report so people can find out all the people in that government who funded 9/11?
