Where were these West Virginia voters three months ago, when they voted 70-27 to send Shelley Moore-Capito, a conservative Republican, to the Senate?https://twitter.com/jbouie/status/1365120340402266117 …

Be a lot easier to show results if states elected politicians who believe in those results. Are you saying Capito beat Swearengin by 40 bc of Obama’s jobs numbers and Trump’s jobs numbers and CARES act?

The House passed a pile of progressive economic bills in 2019-2020. It made the choice between the parties quite clear. In WV in particular, the GOP candidate was running against a Bernie-style leftie. And voters overwhelmingly rejected the Dem.

I agree with James. Regardless of their accomplishments Democrats continue to lose the messaging wars, partly due to structural barriers (right-wing media advantage) but also due to a lack of message formulation and discipline.

Setting aside that the CARES Act wasn't Trump's legislation, unemployment reached its highest recorded levels under him. His term ended in January 2021, not January 2020.pic.twitter.com/333wdAgdP4

"Trump's full employment?" Did Trump's term end in early March 2020, or did it end in January 2021?
