Is there a distinction worth a difference between "centrism" and conservatism? The whole idea of centrism, is trying to squat on the equilibrium point between other folks' battles.

Another way to frame is that these folks continue to believe “conservatism” is an antiseptic and decontextualized set of “principles” as opposed to the things that motivate conservatives and the uses they use these principles for. Like u listen to the lyrics not the song.
