To be clear, I don't want to mock people who don't like old movies, old books, old music etc. I understand where they are coming from . Anything old requires work to appreciate. I just insist that the rewards for doing that work are immense & people should be encouraged to do it

I really have genuine contempt for people that make these sort of pronouncements. There's no reason to that art will improve with technology and it often does not.
